第一课
【对话场景】询问具体的时间
——What's the time?
几点了？
——It is eight o'clock.
八点了。
——The children should go to school.
孩子们该去上学了。
Today they are going to school on foot.
今天他们走路去上学。
——What time is it now?
几点了？
——It is ten o'clock.
十点了。
——I usually stay at home in the morning.
上午我一般是待在家里。
But this morning, I have to go to the supermarket.
但是今天我要去一趟超市。
——What's the time?
几点了？
——It is four o'clock in the afternoon.
下午四点了。
——I would like to drink some tea.
我想喝点茶。
——What time is it now?
现在几点了？
——Now it is six o'clock.
六点了。
——In the evening, the children usually do their homework.
傍晚，孩子们通常会写作业。
But this evening, they are not doing their homework.
但是今天，他们没有写作业。
At the moment, they are playing in the garden.
他们正在花园里玩耍。
• what's the time?的用法
◦ 意思是“现在几点了？ ”，询问的是具体的时刻（小时）
◦ what 是疑问代词，主语是 the time 时间
◦ 相当于 what time is it? it 指代时间
◦ 回答时说出具体的时间即可，一般是细化到小时
◦ 类似的表达：What's the date?今天几号了？
▪ 回答时要告诉对方具体的日期，序数词
▪ 区别于 What's the day?今天周几了？
▫ What's the day today?今天星期几？
It's Friday. 今天周五。
• on foot 的用法
◦ 意思是“步行去······”
◦ 在句子中作状语，一般放在句子末尾
◦ 类似的表达还有 by hand
▪ made by hand 手工制作
◦ 相当于 walk to...，但是在句子中的成分不一样
▪ walk to 在句子中作谓语
▫ I walk to school every day.=I go to school on foot every day.
我每天步行上学。
◦ 英语中表达交通方式，通常可以用介词+交通工具构成
▪ by bus 坐公交 by bike 骑自行车 by car 坐车 by subway 坐地铁
by air 坐飞机
• at the moment 的用法
◦ 意为“此刻、此时”，通常和现在进行时连用
◦ 在句中作时间状语，放在句子末尾
▪ What's she doing at the moment?她现在正在干什么？
She is busy with her homework.她忙着写作业呢。
◦ 相当于时间副词 now 或短语 right now
◦ at that moment 意思是“在那一刻”，通常和过去进行时连用
▪ At that moment, he was watching TV.
那时候，他在看电视。
◦ a moment 在口语中的意思是“稍等片刻”，相当于 a minute
▪ A moment please, I will check.稍等，我核实一下。

【语法点拨】英语中的具体时刻
英语中的年份用基数词表示，先读前两位数，再读后两位数。月份的首字母要大写，
并且都有缩写形式。英语中的日期用序数词表示。
• 年、月、日
◦ 1949 nineteen forty-nine
◦ 1905 nineteen o five
◦ 9 月 10 日 September the tenth
◦ April Fool's day is April 1st.
愚人节是四月一日。
• 时刻
◦ 几点钟：用基数词表示，o'clock 可以省略
◦ quarter 表示一刻钟，即 15 分钟
◦ 几点过几分
▪ 30 分钟之内，包括 30 分钟，可以用介词 past
▪ 分钟数+past+小时数
◦ 几点差几分
▪ 30 分钟以上，不包括 30 分钟，可以用介词 to
▪ 分钟数+to+下一小时数
▫ A: What time is it now?
现在几点了？
B: It's seven (o'clock).
七点整。
▫ Is it twenty past ten or half past ten?
现在是十点二十还是十点半？
▫ five to eight 八点差五分/七点五十五
▫ Hurry up! It's a quarter to nine!
快点！九点差一刻了！
